Janet knight art class weekend
So we had a fabulous time with Janet learning how to use our oil Paints on linen canvas and how to draw in perspective also how to use our colours.
I found this to be something that I can then transfer to fabric so I'm looking forward to using my new found inspiration to create some more artwork with my textiles.
Using techniques that I learnt from Janet the lines that are painted on the canvas can be stitched on the fabric the colours that are painted on the canvas can be placed on with fabric and then stitched.
The possibilities are limitless and the beauty of it is that it would be an original design from a photo that you took.
Win-win situation I reckon.
So we've decided that we will get Janet back next year.
